Function: Operational Marketing
Location: Bangalore
Experience Requried - 7-11 years
Summarise the purpose of this position to assess its expected contribution to the results of the organisation
This will include key responsibilities.
Growth in MV Business needs more prescription efforts in geographically defined areas . New applications for MV Products have to be found and new customer segments identified . Local support is required by the sales teams to improve quality of selling .

DIMENSION
The purpose of this part is to provide some figures allowing to estimate the scope and scale of the job
1. Annual turnover or/and budget responsibility - Will be responsible for Achieving the Regional Budgeand margin Targets
2. Decision making authority:
Pricing Decisions / Margins
Product launch and Free/ Sample Installations
Customer and Internal Training - Product
3. Long term responsibility:
Responsible for overall market development , positions the products and differentiating the various marker
segments .
Accessing and evaluating market opportunities

SPECIFIC ISSUES
Job environment, working location, geographical responsibility, frequency of travelling etc…
Will be interacting with internal customers in Sales team as well external customers like Consulatants , contractors , Key influencers in Electric Utilties . Will be responsible for Marketing activities in a entire region and will have to travel for 12/15 days a month

PROFILE REQUIRED
1. Required skills & knowledge for the position:
Strong product application knowledge for Medium Voltage products
Knowledge about Indian Switchgear Industry and competitors
Knowledge about Indian Electric Utility industry .
Computer Skills and Presentaton Skills
2. Required Educational Background & Professional Experience
BE ( Electrical or Electronics) with a MBA will be preferred .
3. Required behaviors to be successful on the job:
Must be able to interact with lot of people at a time .
Should have abundant initiative and must not look for detailed directions / instructions
