Supplier Development Specialist(Chassis/Stamping)

Company Profile: Leading Automotive Major
Location: Bangalore/Bengaluru
Job Description:

• Responsible for new part development, quality performance monitoring, process audits, and problem solving.
• Implements projects using the APQP process with the supplier.
• Manage project till PPAP and launch of the part.
• Responsible for process audits for compliance to requirements.
• Lead problem solving at supplier location for technical/quality issues.
• Monitor performance of the supplier after launch and work on continuous improvement opportunities.
• Implement quality systems at suppliers and work on complex quality issues.Solid understanding and experience in APQP process.
• Experience in problem solving. Seven QC tools, Statistical Engineering and/or Six Sigma approach
• Good Knowledge of basic computer software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

Candidate Profile:

BE in Mechanical/Production Engineering with 5+ years experience in Supplier Quality Development preferrably from Automotive Industry.
