Packaging Engineer

Location: Bangalore
Major Job Responsibilities
· Manage day to day online Packaging activities all Finished Goods with the help of Packaging Service providers
· Scheduling and monitoring of Packaging material with the help of Packaging Service provider to ensure timely availability of all Packaging material as per production plan.
· Prepare all Packaging design standard, work instruction for all outbound packaging.
· Work with Indirect Purchase function and packaging service provider for price negotiation, contract finalization, identifying new source for Cost optimization
· Arrange timely packaging of Air / train for outbound, new product, prototypes, samples
· Initiate cost saving project (ECIP) and involve in change management implementation
· Involve in development of inbound packaging from Supplier and finalize Supplier Packaging Instruction (SPI)
· Eliminate Damages in outbound Packaging
· Ensure Packaging receipt quality periodically review as per Packaging standard
· 5S Improvement in Packaging Area ( in all the Zones & receipt area )
Experience:
Bachelor degree / Diploma or equivalent experience (preferred in Packaging)
Excellent English. Good communication skills
4~7 years experiences in Packaging Design, Development & implementation
