Job Description :

Supplier Development:
Evaluation of new suppliers – conduct audits (risk assessment, PAPA, PSO, etc) as required. Develop improvement plans with supplier to address audit findings. Provide regional based support as required.
Supplier / Program launch activities – coordinate Pre-Award Meetings, PPAP submissions, review APQP data and development of launch containment plans as required.
Supplier Quality:
Achieve year-over-year reduced SPPM goal.
Act as supplier liaison, administering, developing and coordinating all quality system related activity. Provide regional based support as required.
Communicate with the supplier regarding APQP, quality issues and pro-active continuous improvement activities.
Coordinate structured problem solving activities with the supplier. Ensure that appropriate root cause identification and corrective action verification occurs with emphasis on key supplier issues.
Supplier Project / Program Management:
Achieve AOP committed savings targets
Ensure programs are launched on-time with no quality issues
New performance programs – coordinate establishment of cross-functional teams and project plans to ensure timely implementation. Ensure project plans are updated on a defined schedule and communicated to the key stakeholders.
On-going performance programs – ensure project plans are updated on a defined basis and communicated to key stakeholders. Assist in resolution any issues that can impact the project critical path.
Lead cross-functional VA / VE meetings with key suppliers. Ensure ideas are captured and appropriate follow-up activities occur
Ensure that C2C guidelines are followed
Ensure that CVA needs are addressed on all programs
Support operations rationalization activities as required



Candidate Profile:
10 years in Quality
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Statistics or Math or Sciences preferred
