OVERVIEW:
• The purpose of this position is to develop and manage global supply chain initiatives for LVS Commodities. The incumbent will be responsible for both strategic and tactical aspects of supply chain procurement including South Asia Pacific sourcing, supplier negotiations, strategic procurement, quality and delivery improvements, VA/VE, project management. In addition the incumbent will be responsible for coordinating commodity-sourcing strategies for LVS worldwide Procurement .
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Identify & Develop Right Suppliers from the Region & Fixing the Prices /Commercial Terms
• Implement & Monitor South Asia Pacific sourcing strategies
• Material cost reduction
• Supply chain optimization
• Supplier delivery & quality improvements
• Supplier QS certification and compliance / as defined in PIE
• Initiate and implement Supplier Development Plan
• Implementation of VCI initiatives
• Global commodity responsibility and/or business unit regional responsibility
• Implementation of eProcurement initiatives/Reverse Auction
