For a Leading Automotive MNC in Bangalore

Required...

 

1. Commerce Graduate with 3-4 years experience in EXIM operations in Shipping line / freight forwarding coupled with experience in manufacturing sector.
2. He should posses through working knowledge of shipping line / port / ICD / ACC operations and should be able to handle the entire imports of the plant independently.
3. He should have knowledge of  Indian Customs procedures / laws and be conversant with existing tariffs /policies/exemptions pertaining to his scope of work
4. Through knowledge of EXIM policy, Credit Policy and Import licensing schemes is required viz EPCG, Duty Drawback, DEPB.
5. He should be through with entire Export / Import Documentation and MIS generation as per statutory requirements and maintain the same.
6. He should be conversant with Re-export / Project Import / Samples export procedures.
7. Should be able to generate and critically monitor MIS for all EXIM shipments independently.

 

Desired...

 

1.      A person with good communication and presentation skills. He should be an effective team player and act as a link between the organization and logistics service providers.

2.      He should have good contacts with shipping lines / freight forwarders and keep abreast with latest freight trends across major trade lines.

3.      He should be able to effectively coordinate with CHA / Customs for speedy clearance of all EXIM shipments and keep abreast with latest Customs circulars/notices.

4.      He should be able to critically monitor all logistics service providers. performance and provide suggestions for improvements of the same. 

5.      Working knowledge about warehousing and surface transportation desired.

6.      Working knowledge on EXIM finance desired.
