Software Engineer, Embedded Device Development - FLO Technologies

Job Description:

· Design, implement and maintain embedded software components through the product life cycle for the MediaFLO project.

· Design and implement new software architectures to support easy migration to different hardware/software platforms.

· Collaborate with other software development, systems engineering, release and test teams. Debug and fix problems found by test teams.

Skills/Experience

· 0 to 7 years of experience designing, and implementing software.

· Strong background in C/C++, experience in Object Oriented Design, and real Time Embedded Programming required.

· Must also have strong analytical and debugging skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.

Additional Skills:

Experience with ARM processors and Trace32 debugging tools, ability to write scripts in Perl/Python is a plus

Software Engineer, Client Core/Embedded - FLO Technologies

Job Description :

· Be part of a development feature team responsible for the design and implementation of client and server based components within a enterprise-grade media distribution system-components that provide services.

· Design and implement embedded services which satisfy the requirements of a high performing and reliable client architecture.

· Work together with other component teams to derive design requirements, de/refine schemas, interfaces and protocols and establish test strategies and requirements.

Skills/Experience

· Designing, and implementing testable software.

· Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.

· Strong background in C++, experience in Linux and Embedded Programming is required.

· Background (educational or industry) in C++ required.

· Requires excellent programming and problem-solving skills and strong background in C/C++ and OOD.

· IP protocols background is strongly desired.

Additional Skills:

· Experience in C++ Web Services development such as gSOAP, familiarity with wireless communication is a plus.

· Java and Python programming experience a plus.

· Knowledge of database technologies is desired

Software Engineer, Windows Mobile - FLO Technologies

Job Description:

· Design, implement and maintain embedded software components through the product life cycle for the MediaFLO project.

· Design and implement new software architectures to support easy migration to different hardware/software platforms.

· Collaborate with other software development, systems engineering, release and test teams. Debug and fix problems found by test teams.

Skills/Experience

· 3 to 8 years of experience designing, and implementing software on Windows Mobile platform.

· Strong background in C/C++, experience in Object Oriented Design, and real Time Embedded Programming required.

· WinMobile 6.x DirectShow Programming hands-on experience is required.

· WinMobile 7 experience is a plus.

· Must also have strong analytical and debugging skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.

Additional Skills:
